Congratulations! I have just started the audiobook. The image of you sweating in a Spanish loft, shouting at your kids to leave you alone so you could finish a book about being a better dad, I relate to that so much with my own work. The contradiction doesn't resolve neatly, does it? I think that tension is actually the book's best credential. Only someone who lived that irony fully could write honestly about it. Congratulations on getting it out the door. The 259 endnotes alone are an act of service.
Congratulations, Kevin – a monumental achievement! As an editor I'm forever passing work back to authors without perhaps appreciating the time and energy that demands of them – reading this article renewed my appreciation for those patient authors like you who give up so much to do the real work. Plus, I can't wait to read TNF when it drops in the UK!
my copy arrived at my mom's place on Monday. Looking forward to read when she visits this summer. I'll be thinking of you as I read, and will try to snatch free moments of time that don't take away from time with the kids. but if the book ends up being a page-turned, no guarantees 😂
congrats, huge accomplishment. Love Romer's stages; I too spent a looong time at point 4, as well as 3. Anyway, just noticed you're on Dr. Becky today...not a bad start!?!
