Is Andor more like the first season of The Mandalorian or the second? I loved the former and hated the latter, it was simply too much Star Wars.

I’m all in on Andor. First show in a while that’s got me tuning in each week instead of just waiting for it to finish then binging.

I can take or leave the World Cup. But I do find global events like the Olympics or the World Cup exciting because there are very few things these days that capture the minds of literally all the world.

Fascinating to think about success right now. Baby, work, and sleep are the only real things I'm putting energy into right now. I'm so grateful to have work, and pay that supports the family, and also covers the monthly tax bills I racked up trading crypto last year :/

This is the extent of my media, social or otherwise. Never meaningfully been on twitter; no idea what's going on in the news. Apparently it's a world cup year 🧐

When I first read this, I thought 'Andor' was a typo, or some new way of saying 'et cetera.'

Received the pin and stickers, Kevin. Thanks to you and Niamh. When ot arrived, my wife said, Lucky! you got airmail from Britain!

Success - as a full time stay at home dad I struggle to find success in things I do sometimes. Most of the time I joke and say "the kids alive and happy". But sometimes I find success in my side projects/work.

Twitter - I use it. I think it's fine. It could probably use an overhaul of some sort with Elon.

World Cup - Excited to see this young US team take the pitch.

About success - been thinking about this a lot. In church work in the US, there's such a tendency toward numbers: bigger is better, how do we get more people to come, etc. And I'm trying to get out of that mindset but feel like it's a black hole I keep getting sucked back into. Loved your essay on it.

Twitter - the only social media I can stand to be on regularly so I'll be bummed if it dies, but honestly, it'll probably good for us all

Andor - I'm behind but trying to catch up. If I can ever get the girls to vacate the TV! (they're watching Gilmore Girls all the way through.)

It’s been a pretty horrid week, hence why I’m reading about RVing in Canada with a toddler :). But I completely agree Andor is brilliant.

Twitter - don't care for it all that much, but it has its good points for sure. I reckon it will either implode within 6 months, or come back stronger than it ever was before.

Qatar / World Cup - thought about just not watching the WC and boycotting it, but then I thought again. Qatar has its own culture and beliefs - maybe from the top down, and while you'd never condone them - it is how it is. If anything, shunning them means change is less likely.

If you did boycott them, shouldn't you boycott China too, if they ever held it? What about the US - they still have capital punishment. You could find a reason for any country I'm sure, even if not as glaringly obvious as Qatar. Curious to hear what others think.
